Rozan the Dog needs a home
Rozan is a 5 year old tri-coloured rat terrier/Jack female. She weighs 15 pounds.
Rozan is an active terrier, who used to enjoy running with her owner and would probably excel as a hiking companion. She has not been well-socialized with other dogs over the past few years and would benefit from a confidence-building canine sport like nosework. A positive reinforcement obedience class would be wonderful too.
Rozan is friendly and affectionate with people and gets along well with dogs she knows. Because this is a high-strung breed, we discourage homes with young children from applying.
Rozan is house trained and house safe. She can be leash-reactive and she is nervous in the car. These are all things that can be worked on and turned around. This is a highly intelligent dog with enormous potential in the right home. Another calm steady dog in the adoptive home would be an asset.
