Laura the Horse needs a home
Laura is a beautiful little bay mare who was born in 2011. As a baby, she was purchased from an auction by a nice older couple who eventually was unable to care for her and sent her to Best Friends. She was an only horse at their house, so she's very excited to have horse companions now. We started her under saddle and she was a dream to train and has become a very accomplished trail horse on the mountains and deserts of Southern Utah. She has a crooked front leg, and our vet has advised us not to do a lot of arena work or repetitive circling, but she has been sound on the trail and has a wonderful mind. We require that all our riding horse homes have Natural Horsemanship experience and come to the sanctuary to demonstrate their own level of savvy and also their compatibility with our horses.
