During her time in foster care, her foster parents observed that while cautious at the start, she is an incredibly loyal, friendly, and playful dog once she adjusts to her new setting. She is house-trained and has excellent house manners. Sitka's most favorite activity is playing with other dogs and she is a star playmate for any dog that wants to play with her. Being with other dogs is what makes Sitka happy, comfortable, and more confident.
Sitka is looking for someone who understands what it's like to feel anxious in new environments. She needs a family who can open their home and heart to her, while knowing that she will likely always be nervous in certain situations.
