Frodo the Dog needs a home
Are you looking for a fun dog who would love to train with you? A dog who will run all day and sleep all night? One who can just play fetch but also do an agility course? Frodo may be your dog!
Frodo is just about as fun as a dog can get and at only 1 year of age, he has plenty of time to learn to be the great dog we know he can be. He is full of life and enthusiasm, but he's also nervous and anxious. Frodo has boundless energy and wants so badly to run and play but he's not always the best at introducing himself to other dogs. When meeting a calm dog who is not confrontational and has good dog "language" he can do well. If he meets another dog who is highly energetic or also nervous, he doesn't do so well and will lunge and bark at them. This all just makes Frodo not the best candidate for a dog park, but you can walk him, on leash, with other dogs.
Frodo is not great when allowed to have items that he highly prizes, like bones and chewies. We are working to teach him to trade items he has for items we have that are even better. But for now, we just aren't allowing him to have any bones! Frodo will guard bones so we do suggest you treat this issue with great care.
Frodo does love people but he can be nervous when first meeting them so he requires a little time to warm up. He should not be allowed to lounge on the furniture as he can guard spaces. And Frodo does not like to be touched when he is laying down.
