I am tiny, just 5 pounds, with beautiful blue eyes .. and a stubby tail.  My name is SAHARA and I am a Mekong Bobtail.  I have the Siamese point colors (lilac) and the bobbed tail of a Manx.  I have a huge purr, love neck scratches and being brushed, and will flip onto my back for a gentle belly rub.  My favorite toys have feathers.  I do not like to be picked up .. but will lay at your feet, follow you around, snuggle with you on the couch and sleep beside you.  All of this may take awhile because I can be pretty shy .. so I need an experienced cat-person, someone gentle and patient.  I lost my home due to allergies, do not like change, and often find the world to be a scary place. I was the only kitty but might be willing to put up with a laidback male cat around my age.  I do enjoy a large, gentle dog.  I need a quiet home, predictable routines, and Fancy Feast.  No kids under 12.  I will greet you at the door (eventually) and LOVE to talk to you!



**  SAHARA is estimated to be 6.  Her adoption fee is $175 (cash only).  She is spayed, vaccinated, FIV-FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.  She does not do well in a cage in a store, so she is in a foster home where she has a lap to curl up in -- and you can meet her there.  For more info or to set up a meeting, email [email protected].  She is ADORABLE!
