Peyton the Cat needs a home
Peyton is a happy-go-lucky boy with the sweetest disposition! He was found alone and afraid on a highway overpass at nighttime. Fortunately, a kind samaritan spotted him before something awful could happen and immediately pulled over to rescue him. She contacted us and the rest is history. He was promptly assessed by our vet and thankfully, he was not injured but he was infested with parasites and had anemia caused by fleas. We immediately treated him for all of that and gave him lots of good groceries as he was underweight and frail. With some time, TLC and lots of good care, he blossomed into a healthy kitten with lots of love to give to his humans. It's almost as if he's thanking us for saving him, but little does he know just how special he is to us. Peyton is a very laid-back, mellow boy and adapts quickly to new environments. He loves affection and petting from people and will follow you around to make sure that you give him plenty of attention. He's quite snuggly and doesn't mind being held like a baby, although when canned food is around, look out because he's going to make a beeline straight for it! Peyton does great with other kitties and mustn't be an only cat. His best buddies are Rocket, Groot and Etta. He is neutered, microchipped, negative for FeLV/FIV and current on vaccinations - DOB 5/4/17 (tag # 10624JB).
