Copper is a big guy weighing in at about 120 lbs and is strong on a leash but he is made of pure love! Unfortunately for Copper, he had spent most of his 8 years of life on the end of a chain longing for companionship prior to coming into rescue. Copper finally has what he no doubt longed for and loves living indoors as part of a family.
Copper is very affectionate and playful. One of his favorite games is fetch! He is house trained and uses the doggie door when he feels the need to go outside. Copper is good with other large dogs but doesn't seem to know how to interact with small dogs. Copper suffers from anxiety when he's left alone and his foster mom is working with him. He's coming along in leaps and bounds! Copper would do well with a family who has somebody home most of the time or with other large dogs to keep him company. Copper will be a great addition to a loving family!

Copper is fostered in Dunrobin, Ontario With the help of volunteers, transportation help to Copper's forever home can possibly be arranged.
