Dixie the Dog needs a home
Dixie is a Lab/Pointer mix. She is approximately 3-4 years old and was rescued from the Texas hurricane. She is such a sweet little lady who prefers to sit by your side and keep you warm. She is proven to be trainable especially when offered treats. Dixie walks well on a leash and plays well with other dogs her size or bigger although she may be a little shy at first. Dixie will not do well with cats. She is best with older children. Dixie barks only when the doorbell rings. She “returns to kennel” on command but would certainly prefer sleeping at your feet. Dixie is definitely a keeper and is looking for her furever home. She is housetrained, calm, loving and loyal, spayed and current on her vaccines.
