Jake the Dog needs a home
Jake is a sweet, gentle somewhat shy 10 year old boy who came into our rescue in early August. Jake is an owner surrender. His family was unable to care for him due to their health. He is a handsome dark sable, about 30 pounds and stands about 13 inches at the shoulder. Jake is a little reserved when he first meets you, but warms up quickly. He is learning to walk on a leash and is doing well. He enjoys walks on quiet streets. He Likes roaming the backyard, checking out the flowers, and just lounging around. He loves being near his foster mom. He is up to date on his vaccinations and has recently had a dental and, of course, is microchipped. Jake would be more comfortable in a home without children, but another dog would be fine. A SECURELY FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION.
