Special adoption consideration: Babe is a shy gal, and requires going to a home with a resident dog to show her the ropes!

Hi!  Meet Babe!  She doesn't really know how she ended up without a home, but she is ready to look past all that and find her perfect people!  Could you be the ones? 

Babe is a sweet lady, about 1.5 years old, a lab mix, and a solid 31 pounds of love. Babe is looking for someone to show her how great it can be to be a doggo in DC and to spoil her endlessly (belly rubs are a must). She's lived in a home with cats before, and got along just fine with them! With other dogs, she can be a little timid at first, but then realizes how fun play time can be! Speaking of play time, she is someone who will need a lot of it! She is high energy, and will need running/doggy daycare and lots and lots of exercise!

Like most shelter dogs, Babe may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
