Hi, I’m Dixie. I’m Looking for my forever home. Other dogs don’t bother me once I get to know them, and for the cats... well I don’t care for them too much. My foster mom calls me a big baby And well I kind of agree with her. I’m pretty lazy most of the time but I do love going for walks. I’ll stay in a crate but I prefer a nice warm bed in the floor of your room. Kids? The tiny humans? I love them, vacuum cleaners not so much (They scare me). I’ll snuggle on the couch with you all day because I love my Humans. If you think I’ll fit in with your crew go fill out an application on me. I know my foster mom will miss me but... who wouldn’t?? 


All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.
