Meet our beautiful hound dog, Copper!



Yes, a nod to the 80s Disney Classic, The Fox & The Hound.  And a gorgeous and loving hound he truly is to all he meets, both human and canine alike.



Copper was very short on time in the shelter.  He had been picked up as a stray in South Dallas with some scrapes and scratches he obtained while out on the streets.  He has healed nicely and is looking for his own Forever Home.  He would do fabulously in a home with another dog where he can run, wrestle and play tug.



Copper also loves his humans.  His Foster Dad had been struck with the flu and there was Copper by his side all cuddled in the bed with him.  He wasn't going to leave his side.  He is loyal to those who show him love.



Copper does very well with children.  He is in a foster home with teens and pre-teens.  He loves to go for walks and is an active boy, who needs an active family.
