Piccolo Pete the Dog needs a home

Hello, I'm called "Piccolo" Pete because I was rescued from the shelter on July 4th.  Everyone who meets me cannot believe how sweet and fun I am. I am about 5 years old, 20 pounds, and those who know me call me a "Velcro" pet because I love my people so much - I stick by their side!  I love cuddling with my family, especially if they let me on the couch to watch TV with them at night.  If you know anything about the terrier breed you will know that we are very loyal, no matter our size!  For instance, I will alert my family to passerby outside the window, but other than that, I am very quiet.



Because I am a small, brave dog, my family must be a leader of me, otherwise I will lead them, so please be sure to give me rules with positive reinforcement (like treats).  I am totally cool with other dogs and currently live with 2 older, bigger dogs, and we share toys and treats with no problem at all.  I sleep quietly in my crate all night, and will even go into my crate on my own for naps or relaxing.  I am great on a leash and love to go for walks and car rides.
