Adopt a Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat)

Hi! Does my human given name make you want to break out in song? Let it go, LET IT GO!!!! I do have quite a bit of a past to let go of.  I was a yard ornament for most of my life, chained to an outdoor furniture set. I lived as a yard dog with no human interactions. I was very lonely. I felt yucky and looked like yick too from a yeast infection.  You should have seen my nails, horrendous, they curled under because they were never trimmed and I couldn’t run fast to naturally shave them down because of the darn chain.  Now that I am surrendered from my previous lifestyle, I am called Olaf by the volunteers. At first I was a tad bit snippy, because I wasn’t sure about these folks, but fast forward 5 months and look at me now.  Handsome, clean, SOCIALLY ADEPT, healthy and handsome, did I say handsome twice? I did. I am good at playing with all dogs and my best friend is a smaller dog named Grenada.
 
I just want to be a non-yard dog now and I am already house and crate trained. The volunteers are recommending a home with no small children, since my past was riddled and I might not like unpredictableness that small kids offer, but older kids would be fine. I am not a super snuggler, but I am not standoffish either, I am medium on attention needs, I like to hang out near you wherever you are.  I am a male Chihuahua mix and the creamy white color of a snowman, the cream color comes from where a dog might have lifted his leg in the snow, get it?  Too gross, well then think of me as the color of vanilla ice cream and just as smooth. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
