RIATTA the Horse needs a home
Riatta is an athletic paint mare. She was rescued with a large number of equines who were all underweight, had internal and external parasites, overgrown hooves, and teeth that had been neglected. Riatta has come a long way since her rescue and has turned into a gorgeous mare with lots of potential.
Riatta was started for riding at Longmeadow, and then adopted. Unfortunately she was returned to Longmeadow by her adopter because they were moving and could not take her with them. Riatta was adopted a second time and returned a second time. The second time she was returned because her second adopter wasn''t able to keep up with the training that Riatta needs. Riatta isn''t a horse that you can ride just periodically and expect to climb on without lunging. She would prefer to be ridden a few days a week or if she sits for awhile she definitely needs to be lunged. We haven''t had any issues with Riatta and she is good as gold but for this reason we recommend her for an intermediate rider or a beginner in a lesson program so that there is a trainer available to help.
Riatta is a very sweet mare. She would like to find her forever home and a person with time to spend with her.
Although she isn''t very tall, she has an athletic build.
