Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

This beautiful girl is Camille, a 1 year old (12/9/16), 50-55 pound mixed breed who has a striking brindle and white coat with adorable white stockings. Camille gets along extremely well with other dogs and with cats. She is very curious, and energetic - loving to play with plush toys, rough housing with the other dogs, and chewing on Nylabones and elk antlers. In addition, Camille loves to cuddle with her foster mom on the couch or sleep in bed with her. 

This special girl is quite shy and can be skittish so she'll need a special adopter who is understanding and willing to work with her (or accommodate) and her fears. Because Camille gets overwhelmed easily with new people and new situations, we are asking adoption applicants to meet Camille a couple times, providing her an opportunity to feel more comfortable - to get to know her - and visa versa.

Ideally, Camille would do best with people home during the day but most importantly, Camille needs another dog in the home with whom to buddy. She takes great comfort and is more confident when another dog is present; she will want to lay with and be near the other dog. She takes strength and feels more secure having another dog to partner with daily. A securely fenced yard would be very helpful, as well, to keep Camille safer. 

Camille is a sweet girl who needs a break. She is very loving, gentle, and sweet. If you want to make a difference for a dog with a few "issues", Camille may be the right dog for you. This dog has received age appropriate inoculations, been dewormed, plus has been spayed and microchipped.
