Adopt a Plott Hound / Mixed (short coat)
Joy the Dog needs a home
Meet Joy. She has just moved to the rescue. It was a bit of a learning experience to live with a bunch of other dogs but she is a smart girl and is getting it figured out.
Joy here, I am an apx 6 year old , 60 pound Plott hound mix girl .Don't let the grey hair fool you-I think my previous owners caused that. It seems they weren't too good to me.I have so much love to give and now maybe someone will notice.I am kid friendly and just lie on the floor while the kids do their coloring. I am a natural to go to a home with kids. I spent Saturday morning playing with some small girls from a Girl Scout troop. Next time you are looking for a family pet, don't overlook this "seasoned" girl. I am house trained and smart.I would prefer a fenced yard.Without that, I can't help it, I will run.I am fine with dogs, but do not like cats.I don't like to be alone for more than 4 hours at a time, so here I am you stay at home Moms.I have never been given a chance to show how worthy I am of being loved.I will return it over and over. Please give me a chance for some happiness in this life.
