The Professor is on hold right now and is not accepting applications. He is having some behavioral issues and we are working with a trainer. 

The rescue gave me the name Professor Plum, but my foster mom calls me Cubby because she says I'm her little Cub.

I am a fun loving dog who loves my people, I tend to fall in love with whoever feeds me, as I love to eat.

I am really good at car rides because my foster mom takes me to work with her every day, so I am pretty lucky, she is helping me encounter new things. 

I enjoy long walks in the park, car rides, and food of any kind.

So if I seem like a good fit, get a hold of my people. :)

Little Cubby is a great dog, he loves his people. He is potty and kennel trained. He is a sweet, playful, and energetic little boy who loves love, from his person. He is great with my cat, has no interest in my two dogs and is great with my 17 month old daughter who is very respectful of dogs.



He's great on a leash and loves playing outside. He is very silly and plays all by himself with his toys. Cubby would do best in a family with a somewhat quiet house hold with one or two dog-respectful kids, with one or no other dogs. He would love a fenced in yard!

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
