Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
Angelina the Cat needs a home
Angelina is a beautiful short haired black and white female cat about 1 year old. Angelina arrived in the Stray Connection on July 22, 2017. She was nursing a litter a kittens that were not her own. After being spayed in mid Sept, she began limping. An xray showed that she had been shot with a 22 caliber bullet. The majority of the bullet is lodged in her right elbow, with more fragments lodged in the chest area. Whomever shot her was trying to kill her. Had the bullet not passed through her elbow, she would have been killed. She probably received no vet care and no pain meds and managed to survive despite being shot when she was probably less than 6 months old. Angelina will have arthritis in that elbow but otherwise is healthy, happy and full of love to give to that special someone. She LOVES everyone as soon as she meets them. She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored. She gets along well with other cats, and we think she'd be great with dogs and kids. She’s negative for feline leukemia and aids, current on her distemper and rabies vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and spayed.
