Dr. Pants the Cat needs a home
Playful, Social, Independent Dr. Pants certainly wears the pants around here! This rambunctious guy has his PhD in rough play and has a hard time taking no for an answer when recruiting playtime buddies. Dr. Pants is a handsome young brown and white tabby who's either sleeping or in his characteristic hyperactive mode; there's no in-between with this guy. One minute he's sleeping soundly in bed with his foster parents purring away, and the next he's using them as cat trampolines! Humans aren't his only form of entertainment, though. Dr. Pants is also a big fan of jingle balls, twist-tie toys, and tennis balls, which he loves to steal from the resident dog. With such an active personality, you wouldn't think that Dr. Pants had been on cage rest for recovery from a broken leg just a short while ago. (He's probably just making up for all the time he had to spend in a crate!) He is off of cage rest now, but still seems to have some sensitivity in his hindquarters, so he appreciates that anyone picking him up be mindful of his back legs. When playing or being petted, Dr. Pants can get a little too excited sometimes, which might show through in hand grabbing and biting, so he could be a little too intense for young kids. If he gets too excited, he can always be distracted by his favorite toys, though. Dr. Pants is currently living with two cats, a golden retriever, and four parakeets, all of which he gets along with fine. He loves to play and snuggle with the cats and is warming up to the dog (he used to be a little scared of her), whose tail he finds super interesting! Dr. Pants has great litter box manners and is a very food-motivated kitty who often purrs as he's eating his kibble. On the list of things he doesn't enjoy, however, is getting his nails trimmed, during which he'll squirm and complain. If you're looking for a playful kitty who's a real character, come meet the rambunctious Dr. Pants today! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
