Chubbs- rest in peace 2/13/18 the Dog needs a home

Chubbs is 12 years old and 35-40 pounds. We're working on his weight, and he's been losing some. His diet is half green beans.  He's an owner turn in and not a minute too soon. Don't think his owners were doing much more than feeding him.  Director Connie has issued a challenge to Chubbs and herself. They're all doing a mini "Biggest Loser"


 


Because both his hind legs were failing him, Chubbs had surgery on one leg.  It took him months to rehabilitate, but he did it!  He is now very mobile and doing so well!  Truly a huge success story - we are so proud of him! Very sweet personality as well. Good with dogs and kids, and should be fine with cats, too.


 


His blood panel revealed that he is hypothyroid - low thyroid - very inexpensive medication will give him more pep and help take those pounds off and he's on his way!

Chubbs is our designated recipient of a year's worth of Royal Canin special senior dog food gifted by Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.  Chubbs accepts this great tremendous donation on behalf of himself and all his "special" friends at B&B.  


 


Passed away  2/13/18. After over 7 years at B&B, one of our favorite beagles, Chubbs, passed away in his old age.

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
