A volunteer favorite, Corbin packs a whole lot of love into his low-rider frame! He LOVES to cuddle. He has a nice calm to moderate energy. As soon as you sit on the couch with him, he leans against you and puts his head on your lap. An absolute sweetheart, Corbin is ready for his special human to find him and love him forever. Corbin loves everyone he meets—and when we say “love,” we are talking serious, exuberant, wholehearted LOOOVVE! But what with all the changes he’s been through in the last year or so, Corbin can be a little anxious in new situations until he has a chance to adjust. We suspect he just needs time to be sure he truly is home and that he’s finally found his forever family. For this reason, we feel that he’d do best in a home with adults only or older kids (teens). His first month home should be quiet—a time for him to figure out that you are safe, that your home is his home, and that nothing bad will happen to him. He is great with other dogs and even the cat in his foster home! His ideal home will have a dog his own size to be friends with. We know that Corbin will bring to your home an unmatched enthusiasm for life … coupled with serious snuggling power. When you come home, he will greet you with all the love his short little Bassett legs can carry to you. Crate trained and housebroken, he really is such a gem!
