Adopt a Boxer / Terrier / Mixed (short coat)
Buddy the Dog needs a home
Buddy is a one year old boxer/terrier mix who is neutered, Heartworm tested, up to date with vaccines, and microchipped. He is living in a foster home and the following is what his foster mom said about him:
Buddy loves to run and playing ball is his game. He gets along great with other dogs, big and small. He prefers to sleep inside in a kennel or under your covers. He will gladly walk in his kennel with a gentle touch on his shoulder and telling him to kennel He has been eating in the early evening and early morning inside of his kennel, he prefers a raised bowl. Buddy is a quiet dog and always on guard, he will bark when he hears the doorbell or someone pull up outside. Simple commands are a breeze for Buddy and he is eager to learn more, very attentive dog. He loves treats during training sessions or a nibble from a sweet potato, guess it's his southern charm to like his veggies. (Carrot, Apple, sweet potatoes, watermelon and blueberries). He will walk without a leash but please give him time to know he is yours before doing so, He goes from kennel to backyard without his leash and will stay with you in Yard.
A harness is preferred when walking long distance or going for a run.
His smile is infectious and his soft coat is hard not to rub while cuddling. He loves kids and enjoys them laying on him.
As far as we know he is potty trained for he has not messed up in our house once. Tile floors or hardwoods scare buddy at first but please let him discover to walk on them without falling by himself and he is fine afterwards. Oh, and he loves green beans.
If interested in adopting Buddy please send in an application for adoption.
