Adopt a Shih Tzu (short coat)
Meg the Dog needs a home
Meg Update:
Meg is healing well after her extensive dental and extractions. Meg will be getting her spay on December 22, 2017. The Vet requested a lengthy amount of time for Meg to heal completely from her dental before they spay her.
Meg is quite a dominant female and we are hoping she will be less dominant once she is spay.
Meg will be ready for adoption on January 1, 2018.
Hello everybody!
Welcome me, Meg, to A Promise of Love! Today is the beginning of my new life. I am a 17 pound, tan and white, 10 ½ year old Shih Tzu. I am a breeder release, which means I spent my whole life making babies. My foster mom tells me that I do not have to do that anymore. That now it is time for me! I am very excited!!
I am a friendly little girl, love to be petted, love other dogs, and love my foster mom and dad. The ONLY thing I do not like is to be picked up. That scares me a lot, and I try very hard to get away. This means that I am probably a flight risk, so I will need a secured fenced in yard if you adopt me. No small children please, as they may scare me. Responsible children over 15 would be okay.
I am doing pretty good on the potty thing. But still need some work in that area.
I will be available for adoption once I get my teeth cleaned, or pulled, as they are pretty bad, and I have my spay.
If you would like to donate to my care, that would be just pawsome. Keep an eye on me as you will be seeing quite a bit of me in the future.
Noselicks and Kisses,
Meg
