Wallace the Cat needs a home
Relaxed, Easy-Going, Quiet In the hustle and bustle of life, sometimes you just want a mellow, uncomplicated, no-drama friend to hang out with. Wallace is that feline friend! He will cheerfully welcome your cuddling at any time, but won't follow you around to demand attention. He is content to lounge around and wait for an opening in your cuddling schedule! Wallace extends his good-natured behavior to other animals, both cats and dogs. He wants to be friends with other cats, but if he meets an unfriendly cat, he will retreat submissively and walk away in a relaxed, "no worries!" kind of way. Similarly, he wants to be friends with the dogs he has met, though he does prefer his canines on the quiet side; overly-active dogs that run towards him startle him. Otherwise, he easily shares space with dogs and has no problem approaching them when they are sitting or resting. What a great guy! Wallace is being treated for an non-contagious infection on his nose. He is a senior guy with a limp, though sometimes he will surprise you when he sprints and skips through the house! (No reason, just a burst of joyfulness he wanted to express.) He is friendly with kids, but since he is older, he's not the right playmate for children. He is supremely blissful when they pet him and treat him gently, though! Wallace likes to sit by a window and watch birds. He isn't interested in toys or climbing anything, but in his foster home there is a small, enclosed yard where he is allowed to go (always supervised!) - and he is excited to try and catch a bug. But that is short-lived, and then he is doing what he does best: napping and exuding complete satisfaction and fulfillment. Life is good! You might hear Wallace when it is time to eat and he discovers that his dish is empty, but that's about it. He is a low-maintenance cat that needs a quiet, low-traffic home. He enjoys peace, harmony, and a hushed environment! Having other animals with a similar personality to hang out with would suit him, too. Wallace takes "content" to a whole new level.
