Adopt a Border Collie / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)

Sadie is a Border Collie / Lab mix. Looks around 2 or 3. Her puppies look like more of the same. Eight littles, in black tie!

She was owner relinquished, with her 2 week old puppies. Don't know what the deal was. But at least they cared for her during this time... She was lucky to only be in the Coalinga shelter for a day. Debbie Strange? asked me to take them and they were here a few hours later. Sometimes it just comes together.

Sadie wouldn't bust a move without those babies. I had to carry her into the yard, her pups were in a crate right behind her. Once she was collared (with her id tag) and micro-chipped, she quickly joined her puppies in the large straw filled dog-loo.

We're having a cold snap, but with a heavy blanket over the top, it kept steamy warm in there.

The pups were born Jan 5th, available to be reserved after their first vaccination, Feb. 9th, and available to adopt, March 2nd. when they'll be 8 weeks. There are 4 males, and 4 females.

Sadie will be spayed shortly after and available for adoption as well.
Have to say, I'm impressed, Sadie is a doll. Fantastic mother! And sweet. Wasn't very interested in attention at first but she allowed me to do anything needed. Now she follows me around and will lay in my lap, belly up, for scratches. Her coat is great, shiny and super soft. She is a really great adoptable dog.

Adoption fee is $300 for a puppy, $300 for Sadie, includes vetting, transportation, micro-chip + registration. A $300 spay/neuter deposit for each puppy is required. It will be refunded after the puppy is altered, at the owner's expense, by the designated time.
