Dorothy the Dog needs a home
Dorothy is an adorable white Pit Bull / Beagle mix puppy.
She
is the only girl of her five siblings, marked by a single dot right on top of her
head. She’s curious, spunky, playful, and sweet. Would be a great dog for an active household.
She turned 8 weeks old in February and we are accepting applications for her now! She will probably be a large dog when full grown. We have pictures of her mom and dad, email us if you would like to see them.
The lucky person or family who adopts Dorothy should be prepared for the lifelong commitment of owning a large-breed dog, and the daily exercise and training that smart, energetic breeds like Pit Bulls require.
It's not easy to find homes for adult Pit Bull mixes if you find out you can't keep them once they are full grown so please make sure you are committed for life if you adopt this baby. Many landlords don't allow Pit Bull mixes, so we do require that you own your home to adopt this breed mix.
Dorothy is being fostered in San Jose. Her adoption fee of $500 covers her spay surgery and first DHPP vaccination. We will offer a $100 refund if Dorothy's adopter achieves her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification before she is 3 years old.
