Adopt a Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat)
Rockette: Lee Arrendale Prison Program the Dog needs a home
We wanted to reintroduce everyone to "Rockette".
This cutie has been at the over a month and still hasn't found her forever people yet! My goodness HOW can that be?
Rockette can be bit shy at first, we often see this behavior at the shelter in dogs who are used to having a family- the ones that are most confused about being in a loud, scary place like Animal Control. A shy dog in the shelter doesn't necessarily mean a shy dog at home after adoption! We were not able to find her previous people, because she had no identification and we haven't found any reports of a missing dog like her.
Rockette can take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but she'll crawl over and put her head in your lap. She adores one of the young men here at the shelter, and begs him to carry her around. She's not too keen on me, but hey- she's a flirt that likes her men- what can I say about that?!?! Hahaha!
She's a sweet, submissive little chihuahua/terrier mix who would make a wonderful addition to any family!
We're pretty sure that once this cutie starts circulating- she'll find a home quickly- our small dogs ALWAYS do!
She has been through the Prison Dog program.
