Stevie "Wonderball" Nicks the Cat needs a home
Stevie is a wonderful & special cat that we nicknamed "Wonderball" because when we rescued her from the shelter she was ridiculously pregnant. If you've ever heard the old jingle, who knows what surprises a Wonderball can hide?!
Well this sweet momma was hiding a huge litter of 7 beautiful little kittens - a surprise indeed and the birth and subsequent feedings have been a tough time for momma and all babies to go through. Thankfully Stevie won't have to go through that again once she is ready for her forever home! The babies have a few more weeks until they are weaned, at which time Stevie will be ready to go!
Here in our foster home Stevie is treated like a queen and is a spoiled favorite.
She is always waiting for me at the door when I come in to check on her, has a voracious appetite and greets me with "maow. maow. maow" from the moment I walk in until I fill up her bowls. Then she likes to alternate between sweetly coming up to me for pets and eating like her life depends on it. She is curious about our other cats and is very trusting of the dog to the point of ignoring her, even when she's eating and her babies are out.
She's very easy going and I think would make a grateful and lovely pet for just about any situation.
