Adopt a Yellow Labrador Retriever / Boxer / Mixed (short coat)

>>>This sweet 1 yr old boy is ALL puppy! Max is super affectionate, loving, and well natured. He is very much still a puppy, and needs an adopter that is willing to continue basic puppy obedience training with him. He is also a higher energy dog, and needs an adopter that is willing to give him the exercise that he requires. He would make a perfect hiking or running partner!! He LOVES to play "fetch" and would love nothing more than someone to throw the ball for him for 15 to 20 minutes.  He also enjoys the water, so a home with a pool would be wonderful too!  He still pulls quite a bit on the leash, so he needs someone to continue working on basic leash manners with him.

Max is good with other dogs, but doesn't quite know his size with smaller dogs, so he would need to be adopted into a home with other dog(s) his own size, if there are others in the home. He also does not always have great doggy-manners, so he is somewhat "in your face" with other dogs to play with him; Any other dog in the home would need to have the same indifference and personality to his lack of doggy manners. Unfortunately, Max would not do well with cats.He is GREAT with kids, but because of his exuberance and energy level, they should be older kids only (10+). 

Max is already housebroken.  He has not yet had an opportunity with a doggy door but learns quickly so he would catch on easily.  He loves people, and is super affectionate and enjoys lots of belly scratches. Max is a goofy boy, but eager to please.
