Cammo D3722 the Dog needs a home

Hi. My name is Cammo, but my friends call me Banjo. I believe I might be a Mountain Cur X, I was born in May of 2015 and weigh about 50 pounds. I am a sweet, kind and gentle dog; however, I find humans to be kind of scary until I am sure they aren’t going to hurt me. I like to go on long walks, chase rabbits and squirrels (I think I could be a great hunter), play outside with the dogs, sniff the cat, go for rides, and lay in front of a warm fire… oh, and I love sleeping in bed with my foster parents.



I get along well with other dogs and would love for the resident cat to be my friend, but she doesn't feel the same way. But with six dogs in the house can you blame her? My foster family said that I am welcome to stay with them as long as I need to, however, I would love to live in a home with my very own family. I think I am a pretty smart dog! I have mastered SIT, STAY, WAIT and I am working on SHAKE. I am house trained and am so well behaved I am allowed limited free roam in the house when my foster family is away. I will also go into a kennel and wait if required.



A perfect home for me would be one where there is another dog or cat so that I have a friend and a family who is patient and willing to spend time working with me and older, mature children who can understand my needs.
