Adopt a Shepherd / Mixed (short coat)

Hey Moms out there, do you sometimes feel forgotten?  I mean we do get one day a year in May, but shouldn’t every day be Momma day? Can you relate? Years of being bare pawed and prego have taken a toll on a girl's body. After ending up at the City Shelter emaciated (emaciated means super hungry in people talk) with 8 even hungrier mouths to feed, God's Dogs Rescue swooped in and got my puppies and ME out of there.  My puppies have found homes long ago, they were cute little toots. Now, me, the 7 year old, 40 poundish Heeler/Shepherd mix needs a break and not just of your kit kat bar, although that sounds purty tastey, I need my big break....a home. My bags are packed and boy did I have baggage..heartworms, something called my ACL aka MLHRB (My Leg Hurt Real Bad) was torn. My heartworms are being treated and my ACL had a surgery.  I am not a super fan of other dogs and I was very protective of my food, but gimme another break, I was starving (see comments for photo of my skinny body). I've shown some progress, but would still prefer a home where I am the only dog.   I'm a cat person, so I can reside in an abode with felines. I am completely housebroken, good luck to the people who adopted my puppies, because they ain't, lol. I love to follow my humans and cuddle with them and my belly is ready for loads of rubs. I rarely bark. I would do great with purrrhaps an older person or couple that loves cats and wants one dog to love on as well. Best regards, Charlotte

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
