Adopt a Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed (short coat)

There isn’t any sand in a sandwhich and the sand in my hour glass almost ran out! Plus I am the color of beach sand which is how this entire train of thought started.  My name is Rocky and  I was owner surrendered over to the city pound, and that is never a good thing to be surrendered to a full city shelter, I had till 5PM to find a home or a rescue group to save me.  Now that I am safe with a rescue group I can relax a little, but I was very nervous at the shelter. I am an almost one year old Anatolian Shepherd mix.  I weigh almost 40 pounds now and may grow some more if they are right about my age.  I am great with other dogs and do enjoy playing.  My previous owners told the shelter that I was good with dogs and people, even kids, but because of my nervous nature, God’s Dogs Rescue wants to recommend me for older kids, not little toddler ones, just to be safe. They think I might have been an outdoor doggie based on some of my photos, but I want to be an indoor guy now! Adopt me!  Please email [email protected] and tell them yoy want ME!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
