Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed Dog

Lacey the Dog needs a home

Meet sweet Lacey! Lacey is around 8 months old and is a Shepherd Lab mix with the most adorable slight underbite! Lacey is a distemper survivor so she has a muscle spasm that truly makes her even more lovable (she looks like she always has a tune in her head). She is house and crate trained. Has her basic commands of sit, wait, okay, leave it and off. She knows no boundaries so you MUST be okay with her snuggling up to you wherever you may be sitting. She is great in the car and has done several road trips. She would do best in a more calm and stable environment. This is for her health. Lacey is good with all ages but calm and stable conditions will help her thrive in the best way. Don't let her condition scare you away from considering this truly special girl. She loves her humans & will do anything to curl up next to you & mellow out. Lacey is on a high protein diet and her foster gives her fish oil pills which seems to help. She rarely seems to notice and they do not interfere with her being a happy, playful, loving dog. This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in their current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is completing the adoption application, available with our adoption process on our website at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies.
