A5127619 Ernie is a playful 1-year-old black-with-white Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever mix puppy whose former owner left him at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on November 5th because they became homeless. Weighing 64 lbs, Ernie is a fantastic fellow in every respect: he loves to be with people, is eager-to-please, and gets along swimmingly with other dogs. Like all teen pups, he would benefit from some basic obedience work to help him stay focused and polish his leash skills. We think he will be an awesome companion to accompany you on walks, hikes, or runs, and is also a master cuddler who will enjoy a snuggle fest in the evening. He sailed through his shelter-administered temperament test. Ernie will be an awesome best friend in an active home and we think he’d be a great companion for kids old enough to throw a ball for him.
