Domestic Short Hair Cat

Talisa 21 the Cat needs a home

Sweet, playful, cuddly Talisa and her siblings came to us as orphaned bottle babies. And now look what a lovely young kitty girl she has turned out to be! She's very beautiful, with soft, silky, downy fur. You'll want to pet her all the time, and if you did, she would LOVE it because she is a total LOVE BUG! If you're moving around the house, she'll follow you from room to room to see what you're doing. If you are sitting or lying down, she will be on you. She will eagerly climb up to your shoulder to rub her face on yours, lick you, and nibble your ear! She loves to lie in your lap or on your chest, kneading you with her dainty little paws, gazing into your eyes, and purring herself to sleep. She even loves to be held like a baby. She's not clingy or needy, though - when you're gone or busy, she entertains herself, plays with her siblings, and naps peacefully. Talisa is tiny but fearless and outgoing. Unless she's loving on you, she's on the move, climbing and finding things to play with from bits of string to dishtowels. Anything that dangles absolutely mesmerizes her. She briefly met an exceptionally mellow dog and was fine with him. We haven't seen her with kids, but she's super friendly and not easily scared by loud noises and sudden movements, so she'd probably be fine with kids. Her one little quirk is that her digestive system is only happy with Royal Canin dry food. Any other brand (and her foster has tried 20!) gives her diarrhea. Talisa and her brother Tormund are inseparable BFFs. They'd love to find their forever home together! Tormund has his own bio, so check it out. Talisa is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Talisa is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats. For more information, please contact APA! or read more by our Partner, Best Friends Animal Society: http://bit.ly/2FwYCxR All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip.
