Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Voici Daisy-Lee, même si on l'appelle souvent Goomba. Pourquoi Goomba? Car même si elle a presque 6 ans, elle adore toujours autant jouer. 

Quand elle ne joue pas, Daisy-Lee aime beaucoup se faire flatter. Elle est douce comme un lapin (ce n'est pas une exagération) et quand elle veut de l'attention ou a mangé, elle n'hésite pas a monter sur nous et a nous masser et ronronner jusqu'a avoir ce qu'elle veut. Tout sac plastique lui appartient et elle aime s'asseoir dedans. Ah aussi Daisy-Lee ronfle! Oui un chat ronfle.

Cependant, Daisy-Lee a été battue lorsqu'elle était plus petite et il y a deux petites choses à respecter pour son bien-être. Rien de bien compliqué, mais étant donné a quel point elle est jolie et douce, c'est parfois dur de s'y tenir:

1. Il faut la laisser venir à nous et pas le contraire. Mais ne vous inquiétez pas, elle  finit toujours par s'approcher de nous, car elle aime beaucoup se faire flatter. Il faut que ce soit elle qui l'ait décidé. ???

2. S’il lui arrive de cracher, ça a l'air mignon, mais ça veut dire qu'elle a besoin d'espace. Cela signifie qu'elle a vraiment peur. Sa maman d'accueil est une vraie ''personne à chat'' et Daisy-Lee a passé sa première nuit dans le placard à cracher dès que sa maman passait à cote. Mais une semaine plus tard, elle se faisait flatter jour et nuit.

Meet Daisy-Lee, nicknamed Goomba. Why Goomba? Because despite being an adult cat at six years of age she still absolutely loves to play.

When she isn’t playing, she’s an incredibly cuddly kitty. She is as soft as a bunny (this is not an exaggeration) and will ask for attention by climbing on top of you to knead you and snuggle against yours hands until she gets what she wants. Daisy-Lee has a cute quirk where she will claim any plastic bag left on the ground as a good cat-nap location and snores. Yes, she snores.

Daisy-Lee was mistreated as a kitten so she comes with some special instructions. They’re not complicated, but given how pretty and soft she is, they can be difficult to follow:

1. Do not approach her first. She must come to you. Don’t worry, she will eventually come to snuggle because she loves it, but it has to be her choice to do so.

2. If she hisses, even though it might be cute, it’s imperative to give her space. This hissing is just her way of telling you that she’s really scared. Her foster mom is a real “cat person” and Daisy-Lee spent the first night in the closet hissing whenever mom walked by, but a week later, she was snuggling at all hours of the night.
