Kentucky Karl is a 2-3 year old Shih Tzu that has his share of medical issues. He has been healing after having had his right eye removed because it did not form correctly. Karl also has seizures, and he is on medicine THREE TIMES A DAY, with out fail. Karl will be on these meds for the rest of his life in order to control his seizures. If Karl misses a dose, he will have a seizure. He is a great dog, and he will need a devoted adopter to make sure that Karl has the best chance to live a happy and healthy life. He gets along well with other dogs, likes to ride in the car, and enjoys an occasional hand of poker.

All SAAP animals are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventative as age appropriate.
