Bruiser the Dog needs a home
Three dogs were dumped out in a WV field across the street from a good Samaritan. The dumping lady was confronted and said "...I don't care...I don't want them any more...they can live out here in this field for all I care..." And off she drove. The police did get involved but...long story short, these dogs need a safe and stable forever home. This happened about the end of August and they are still decompressing after their scary trip to PA. Momma is the mom and Baby (adopted) and Bruiser are her pups.
Bruiser is shy, but very lovable once he knows you. He is ok with other dogs, but tends to be a bit of a bully so should probably be an only dog. He really wants to be snuggled next to you, or following you about the house. You won’t need to look for this little guy...just be sure not to shut him in a room you just left.
He does have an enlarged heart that requires medication. It is likely congenital since he is so young. We have no idea of how much it will affect his life span. A quiet, adult home might help.
His adoption donation includes neutering, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming.
Bruiser is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting him. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
