Adopt a Maine Coon / Domestic Long Hair / Mixed
Darla the Cat needs a home
Darla is aptly named: she is a real darling. This gorgeous little girl might be a Maine Coon mix, but she definitely is a Tortoiseshell, though a dilute-colored one. Darla was found in a colony of homeless cats on the Peninsula, likely the offspring of one of the feral moms in residence there. But the area where the colony is located is dangerously close to a heavily traveled roadway, definitely not a safe place for a kitten to try to grow up, so Darla was trapped and taken into foster care.
Darla is very pretty, with her fluffy coat of lovely muted tones, long ear tufts, and attractive face markings. Darla plays with toys, entertains herself batting small toys and bell balls around, and especially loves lap-sitting, petting, and attention from you. She has been paired recently with Caruso, a handsome silver tabby teenaged male kitten.
Spayed, tested, microchipped, FVRCP & rabies vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms.
