Krissy the Dog needs a home
Krissy came to us with Buddy. The pair were abandoned when their former owners left Texas suddenly with the dogs in their now-former home and a note to some friends of theirs that the dogs are there and will need a home... Thankfully, the friends got them out of the home and into rescue. The pictures aren't great because they were taken with a phone at the old home and Buddy wouldn't hold still, but you can see the pair are very Dachshund and very cute! Krissy is a senior, mildly kennel-aggressive but fine once she gets out of it. She is not good with cats (we found that out at the vet clinic), and probably not great around young children, but she seems like a typical lap-dog / cuddler type who will do well with someone who is home a lot and not terribly active. We don't yet know if the pair is bonded but it seems for now like they're just as happy independently of each other. More information and better photos to come...
