Freyja the Dog needs a home
FREYJA is a beautiful 2 year old, spayed black Labrador Retriever mix. She is shy/hesitant at first, but will become loving and playful once she gets to know you. She enjoys cuddling and giving sloppy puppy kisses!
FREYJA is kennel-trained, but prefers to be with her family when home. She enjoys playing with toys, no specific favorites as long as you are playing with her, or cuddling with you in a chair, sofa or bed. She enjoys playing in a baby pool, she loves to try and "bite" the water. Imagine the fun if she had a REAL pool!
FREYJA is in a foster home with large and small dogs. She is cautious at first, but once she gets to know the other dog, she enjoys playing and rough-housing. She has not been around cats and children frighten her.
FREYJA is a home-body, she gets anxious when she is away from a known area. She also submissively urinates when she is anxious or afraid. She has been checked by our Veterinarian and this is not a medical issue. She just needs a patient family that will reassure her that she is loved.
FREYJA would do best in a stress-free home with another doggie companion. Ideally she would have childless owners with a large bed, another dog, and a large yard with a pool!
FREYJA and her siblings were found next to their deceased mom by a good samaritan. The pups were estimated at 5 days old, so they were split up and went to bottle feeders. Fortunately they were found in time and all the pups survived.
