Lexie was an owner surrender at the San Marcos Animal Shelter. Her owners did not pay for veterinary care for her. She was urinating blood due to 5.5 ounces of bladder stones! They said she was too old to invest in her care. 
She has had surgery and is on the mend. She is beginning heartworm treatment and will receive a dental after that.

She is housebroken, doggy friendly, loves people and LOVES cuddling. Her family broke her little heart…she is sad right now, but slowly coming around. With love and kindness, she will be a happy girl again. She would make an excellent companion and cuddle buddy! If you have it in your heart to give this sweet girl the happy ending she deserves, she will be ready to adopt in about two months! Remember February is adopt a senior month her fee is $150.00!
