Meet Sharla Mae!

Before MARS, Sharla Mae was in a cell for TWO years... 730 days.  Can you imagine how good freedom felt once she escaped the over-crowded Arkansas shelter?  Oh boy was she a happy girl! How could anyone pass up that sweet face?!

The first thing anyone notices about her is her
amazing spirit!
T

his girl hopped
out of the transport van after a two day excursion and greeted everyone she met with a wiggle butt and sweet kisses. She continues to endear us with her laid back
personality and gentle
soul.

Now that she is enjoying a comfortable, warm bed and home life, Sharla Mae discovered this thing called "Cat"!  While she loves them and wants to play with them, we're thinking a home without them is probably best as she is learning boundaries.

Poor girl is also heartworm positive!  She just can't catch a break!  Fret not though, she has been treated and is almost done with treatment.  For now, she needs to stay quiet to give her heart a rest to heal.  She'll be ready to play again very soon though!

Think she might be your new best friend?  Think you want to give her a last name?  Click the grey "Adopt Me!" button below and fill out an application. Sharla is waiting for you!

Thank you!
