Meredith the Dog needs a home
This is Meredith. She is a 2y/o spayed female pit. She is incredibly loving and likes getting petted or just being near people. When she came to us, she was so scared she wouldn’t leave her kennel. She would pancake to the floor when anyone approached her and for te first 2 weeks she had to be carried out to the field to go to the bathroom because she was too scared to walk. She has come out of her shell so much and loves spending time out in the yard, especially if there is someone to play with her and love on her. When I sit on the sidewalk, she climbs in my lap and sits on my legs, surveying the field and occasionally turning to give me kisses. She is still shy and unsure around new or unfamiliar people and I hope that doesn’t keep anyone from seeing what an amazing dog she is. Everyone here loves her to bits.
