Roan the Cat needs a home
Meet Roan:
Roan was rescued from a hard life on the streets, she came to the NTCR malnourished and with respiratory issues. Immediately she was vetted and received medical attention, she was very scared and let everyone know that she did not trust anyone. Roan has a beautiful round face with knowledgeable green eyes.
Thanks to the wonderful volunteers that show Roan patience and understanding as she now has learned to trust people. With a slow approach and treats in your hand, Roan will come forward and see what you have to offer. If she feels its okay she will let you get a pet or two in before moving away. Once you bring out the laser dot, she becomes a kitten chasing and running over her playmates to catch that dot. Roan is very good with other cats, and quite often you will find her snuggled with someone.
Roan will need an owner who is patient, understanding and loving, that will help guide her along her journey to feeling safe, secure and becoming the confident cat she wants to be.
