Ella the Dog needs a home
Meet Ella! Ella was recently returned to the rescue with her mom, Naomi, for no fault of their own. Their human dad became very ill and his health was compromised having the dogs in the home. Their mom, who loved them both very much had to make the very tough decision to bring them back to the rescue. It was a hard decision but in the end it will be the best thing for all involved.
Many may remember when Ella, who was formally was Ashley, her sister Wynonna and mom Naomi joined the rescue. One day when we were hosting a free spay and neuter clinic in Sunnyslope, a man on a bike road up and dropped a box right in front of the spay and neuter van and drove away. Inside the box was Naomi and her hour old babies. Naomi was the best mom and we absolutely adored her two little babies, Ashley and Wynonna. Ashley and Naomi were adopted to their forever home together and sadly we never thought we would be looking for a forever home for them again but here we are.
The girls are both good with dogs and could possibly live with cats. Both girls love people. Ella think that her job is to be loved while sitting in your lap all day. When out playing with other dogs in the yard they are both very independent from each other. They could be adopted together or separately. We would be happy with either, we just want them to be loved and cherished in a forever home.
Ella is a little overweight so we are now helping her shed a pound or twot. She is going on daily walks and smaller portions. She loves to lay by your side on the sofa and get belly rubs. Ella will share as many kisses as you are willing to take. She is crate and potty trained, pretty ymuch the perfect litt le pet.
