Adopt a Tabby / Mixed (short coat)
Peppermint the Cat needs a home
Meet sweet Peppermint, or Miss P has her family has lovingly called her for several years.
Miss P's family is no longer able to keep her and for valid certifiable reasons due to their own life changes and has nothing to do with Miss P
so she must find a new forever family right away. The family she had for so long loves her dearly and has taken the best of care of her over the years.
This is what they have to say about her:
"Miss P is good with just about anyone. She is very verbal, and will allows our grandchildren to play with her.
The only other animal she is has been around is our little 7 lb Maltipoo Brandy, and I'm afraid little Brandy kind of runs the house. When Miss P sees her coming, she kind of growls at her and gives her plenty of clearance which is Brandy's fault and not hers.
Miss P loves to play with pencils, so you can't leave one on any table or you will be missing it soon. She doesn't chew them, just plays with them.
If she sees that you are going to be sitting down for a bit, she will climb up into your lap and just lay there and sleep for a while. She is a great winter warm blanket. LOL
The funniest thing I observe is when my wife tries to sit at the breakfast table and just read the paper, Miss P will climb up and lie down right in the middle of whichever section she thinks is being read. She MUST be the center of attention.
For the longest time, she would explore the kitchen by climbing up over our refrigerator to the cabinet above it and opening the door with her paw. I even caught her climbing in a couple times. Her favorite nesting place for the longest time was on top of our armoire in the bathroom keeping watch over her kingdom. She is definitely a climber.
We have a automated litter box that rakes the litter about 10 minutes after it is used, and she will sit and just stare at it when it is running. Sooo interesting. "
