If an animal is on our website, it is still available but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it is in your best interest to submit an application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
As an all-volunteer, foster home based organization, ARF does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we must give priority to pre-approved applicants.
Female, spayed, about 1 and ½ years old (as December 2017), microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, currently at the Wheaton PetSmart (63 Rice Lake Square Wheaton, IL 60187, 630-462-7345), adoption fee $110.
Magdalena was came to ARF from an animal control euthanasia list. One of our volunteers couldn't bear to see this girl euthanized over the holidays, so we rescued her. She loves being petted, and loves to play with toys.

If you’re invited to meet an animal, plan to arrive on time or early,
as we cannot hold animals.
All household members must be present at time of adoption, including dogs.
