Meet Travis and LaRue! ( see LaRue's photos in her online profile)
Travis and his two siblings and mom, LaRue, were left to fend for themselves after their elderly owner fell and was unable to care for them. A neighbor saved the dogs and contacted rescue. This was almost two years ago! Two of the pups were adopted but Travis was too scared and shy to leave LaRue. These sweet dogs are still in a foster home waiting for their special forever. They are bonded and we are trying very hard to find them a home together. Travis and LaRue are very loving and have come a long way since they first arrived. LaRue enjoys snuggling with her foster parents and even Travis has begun to seek attention. Travis is about 2.5 yrs old (DOB~6/14), and is neutered and up to date on his shots. He looks mostly Jack Russell Terrier and Beagle. He is Heart Worm negative and weighs 22 pounds. LaRue is a petite 16 pound long bodied beagle mix. She may have some dachshund in her. LaRue is just turning 6 yrs old this spring. Both dogs get along well with other dogs. A fenced yard is a must for this girl with her beagle nose....
Travis and LaRue were transported to New England for adoption from TN. The adoption donation is $500 for the pair.

Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging!
